Mark and Judy, owners of Simply Cupcakes of Olde Marco, had a simple seaside ceremony on South Beach of Marco Island. Afterward, everyone took the trolly to Mark and Judy’s cupcake shop at the Shops of Olde Marco. The brick courtyard was decorated with paper lanterns and everyone sat beneath the branches of the gumbo limbo tree.

Tropical breezes gently kissed the guests as everyone danced beneath the stars. Later guests enjoyed cupcakes with hand-made sugar orchids, stacked on vintage cake tiers.

Jessica and Chris live at the beach, so they wanted a casual seaside wedding. Jessica loves all things vintage so she wove vintage lace and soft touches into her bridal trousseau. Chris betrothed her with his grandmother’s heirloom filigree ring.

The lighthearted couple wanted their guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful, Pelican Bay beach in Naples. Since Chris grew up in Maryland the couple decided to include funnel cakes and a vintage candy buffet. This relaxed touch intertwined memories of the Ocean City Maryland Pier with the elegance of a Southwest Florida sunset.

We love the Naples Botanical Garden. From the children’s garden to the Asian garden, everything is beautiful and perfectly put together. The possibilities for weddings here are endless.

Whether a couple wants a modern look, or a softer, southern garden, there is a space that fits every personality.

We took Aaron and Leslie there for a fun Day After/ Trash the Dress session. Their love of the outdoors and love for each other really shines through in their photos. Thanks, you guys, for such a great day!

This shoot feels like a country meadow in the middle of Marco Island. Since Michelle and Andrew are getting married on the beach, they wanted to do an E-session that did not include sand and waves. We got creative and found some great places on the island. This is part 2 of their session. Part 1 was at Simply Cupcakes of Olde Marco, our favorite little cupcake shop in SWFL and can be found here.

Lovers of cupcakes will adore this shoot in the quaint and deliciously-sugar-pink shop of Mark and Judy, Simply Cupcakes of Olde Marco. When this shop opened, we knew we wanted to do a photo shoot inside (after we sampled as many cupcakes as possible).

This couple, Michelle and Andrew, live in San Francisco, but are planning their Marco Island Beach Wedding. When they flew in to work on wedding plans, we met up with them for an engagement photography shoot on Marco Island. This being our first meeting, Michelle and Andrew put their full trust into us as we dragged them about the island. In true Meg and J style, we always know when to stop for a margarita, or cupcake, break.

Thanks to Michelle and Andrew for being so laid back and to Mark and Judy for the use of their lovely little shop.
